Hand-in-hand with Dubai Can
Dubai Can is a sustainability initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed, the Crown Prince of Dubai, aimed to inspire and shift the lifestyle norms of all Dubai residents and visitors. It supports the vision of sustainable growth in Dubai and minimises the global environmental impact by reducing single-use plastic pollution.
Better living starts now
Our lives are shaped by choices, everyday decisions. These decisions don’t only affect our living, but shape the world we live in. For 100 years, we have been determined to make the every day better. It is for that reason we are excited to partner with Dubai Can to help spread the message. We aim to inspire a culture of better living through our stationed free water fountains in Dubai, empowering people to refill their water bottles and reduce their consumption of single-use plastic.
Our promise of sustainability
We continuously work to be a better company, with safe and resource-efficient operations, reducing our own footprint, as well as our suppliers’ while working towards a diverse and inclusive workforce built on our strong ethical foundation. We strive to create better solutions – products and services that enable people to save energy, water and resources every day while helping to foster a more circular economy. We have a tremendous opportunity to make a change by overcoming barriers and changing old habits — it all starts now.
Sustainable living starts at home
Reduce your waste of up to 1500 plastic bottles per year and save AED 1800 annually by using the Electrolux water purifier, designed so you can enjoy healthier living for you and your family. The purifier cleans your drinking water from harmful containment, and also improve the taste, and color of your drinking water.
Did you know that most leading bottled water brands contain microplastics in their water, and BPA toxins in the plastic? Benefit from the multi-step filtration system, designed to purify the water you’re drinking from any toxins.
Our sustainable habits can start in our own living space, and one small change in our actions can cause ripples of positive change for the whole world.
How many plastic bottles are used per year?
The average UAE resident can use around 450 plastic water bottles every year, bringing the total of plastic bottles used to four billion annually.
Is it really that bad?
There are around 50-75 trillion pieces of microplastic in the ocean in 2022, polluting the ocean’s grounds and harming aquatic life.
How can we help?
Sustainability starts in your homes. It is our responsibility to take action and come together to make a difference to save our planet.
